I’ve never been to a music festival. I totes would have gone to Woodstock and Monterrey back in the day, and maybe I would have gotten my head bashed in at Altamont. These days there are music festivals everywhere, and most of the time they feature artists I don’t know anything about. But I’d like to change that at some point, because I tend to dismiss the music I’m not familiar with. I am itching to hear something new!
Enter the Budweiser Made in America Festival. It promises to deliver the greatest entertainment and tastiest brews in Philadelphia and Los Angeles this Labor Day weekend. This extraordinary event is the first music festival to run simultaneously on the east and west coasts. You should be part of history and get your ass there!
The Budweiser Made in America Festival returns to Philadelphia for the third year in a row on August 30th and 31st. The Benjamin Franklin Parkway is the place to be this weekend! You’ll get a taste of the talented musicians you already love, and you’ll be able to sample new sounds that will leave you talking. Are 3 stages enough to hold all this music?
Pharrell Williams. Chromeo. Spoon. Mayer Hawthorne. Tiësto. Penguin Prison. The throwback sounds of De La Soul. The National. Kings of Leon. The always controversial Kanye West. 30 other artists are scheduled to wow the crowd at the 2014 Budweiser Made in America Festival.
One of the coolest things you can do at the Budweiser Made in America Festival is participate in Project 12. You’ll get to be a taste-tester for some potential new Budweiser brews! Who doesn’t like free beer?
This Budweiser Made in America Festival not only features exciting music and delicious Budweiser beer, but it also benefits the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and United Way of Lancaster County. So drink, listen to music, and help a great cause at the same time!
You’ll also get to witness Kanye West doing his thing at the Budweiser Made in America Festival at Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles. The brilliant A Tribe Called Red will bring their First Nations/hip hop/reggae/dubstep stylings to the stage. Weezer will do it to you Buddy Holly style, and John Mayer, Imagine Dragons, Afrojack, Kendrick Lamar, Steve Aoki, Juanes, Cypress Hill, along with many other performers will also be giving the audience everything they have.
The Los Angeles Budweiser Made in America Festival promises to give you more entertainment than you can handle, and it benefits the United Way of Greater Los Angeles. Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?
So tell me, dear readers, which Budweiser Made in America Festival do you want to spend your weekend enjoying?
